Metsä Wood manufactures Glulam beams for industrial customers. We also maximise our expertise by offering complimentary building solutions that cover the needs of both structural and supporting systems. Our glue-laminated beams are used in both residential and industrial applications with the ability to provide large spans for a multitude of commercial designs.

From our vast experience in the industrial sector we have developed an understanding of customer requirements over a long time and therefore understand the needs of our customers. We utilise the best aspects of Nordic Premium Timber and apply them to industrial solutions. For example, we are currently supplying material for Glulam, lamella log house and other glued component manufacturers throughout Europe. Metsä Wood sawmills are able to grade, sort and special kiln dry to meet specific raw material criteria for industrial customers. This enables our customers to concentrate on their core business.
