Our full range of decking products has received DeckMark certification, with the WalkSure and Composite deck boards receiving DeckMark Plus certification. This recognition provides reassurance to anyone selecting Metsä Wood's decking that the products meet the standards set by the Timber Decking Association. For WalkSure and Composite decking, specifiers have peace of mind that these products meet the formal performance guidance for the slip resistance rating of deckboard surfaces, which is a pre-requisite of the certification.

DeckMark
The DeckMark®Certification Scheme is a third party product quality certification scheme operated by the Timber Decking Association (TDA). The scheme is based on recognised quality assurance standards (ISO 9000) and confirms compliance to good manufacturing practices and relevant British Standards and ensures that any Metsä Wood decking product is of the highest standard.

DeckMark Plus
DeckMark PlusTM is an extension of the TDA’s DeckMark® Scheme and applies to individual products that are manufactured in accordance with DeckMark® but which also have a performance rating in line with a recognised British Standard. The WalkSure and Composite deck boards in this brochure have been independently performance tested and conform to having a low potential for slip.
