Can you give us an overview of your role?
As a Customer Support Co-ordinator it is my responsibility to assist in coordinating all aspects of the accounts allocated to me. I am currently the key contact in our team for both Wickes (Store & Home Delivery) and Travis Perkins (Home Delivery). My daily responsibilities are numerous but include manual order processing, creation & maintenance of data in SAP & other internal databases as well as handling all queries received from both the stores and their customer’s. These enquires may be relating to product information, order status’s or delivery enquiries. I am also responsible for checking and sending their daily reporting requirements and compiling monthly KPI reports.
What do you like most about your job?
I wouldn’t love my job as much as I do if it wasn’t for the team I work with. It’s an amazing feeling when you know you’ve done a great job. I am the main contact for order and product queries for each and every Wickes/Travis Perkins store across the UK, so I do get a lot of calls daily from the stores and their customers. As you can imagine it can be quite challenging to please everyone all of the time but when you know that you have gone the extra mile to help someone it fills me with a real sense of achievement…a job well done!
What do you think makes your role important to the business?
I am very often the first point of contact for customers and also the general public, so it is vital that the service and assistance that I offer is of the highest standard to ensure Finnforest is perceived as a friendly, professional and efficient company. I also hope that the information and support that I offer to other areas of the business contributes to the overall efficiencies of our processes and the quality service that we deliver to our retail and home delivery customers.
What is your main motivation?
My main motivation is providing the highest level of customer service possible and ensuring that Finnforest is a pleasure for our customers to deal with.
What do you find most challenging and rewarding about your job?
I get an extremely large amount of calls from stores and end consumers from across the country daily so there are always many challenges that arise. The most rewarding ones are when I hang up the phone knowing that the customer is delighted with the service they have received!
What are your hobbies out of work?
I go to the gym 3 times a week and I love horse riding. Like most girlies I also love shopping and of course shoes!
Becky is a positive, enthusiastic member of our team who approaches all aspects of her role with energy and professionalism. In the relatively short time that she has been with us Becky has completed an NVQ in Customer Service and has established a good understanding of both Finnforest and our customer’s businesses. Becky has used this knowledge effectively within her role, delivering excellent support to our customers and the end consumer. Her abilities and desire to continually improve her performance make her an excellent asset to our team!
