With minimal deflection and high resistance wear, Metsä Wood concrete formwork panels offer a longer service life and a smoother finish. The cost-savings come from the quality of the panel coatings and the lay-up of the panel veneers. It's a combination that marries strength with repeated ease of use.
Metsä Wood Form and Form Plus
Superior birch formwork panel with double-sided phenolic overlay for repeated smooth casting. These double-sided, superior shuttering panels are overlaid with a smooth, hard, and slippery phenolic film for easy concrete casting and trouble-free release. The base film weight is 120g/m2, although heavier weights (220g/m2, 440g/m2) and multiple overlays are available to order.
With Metsä Wood Form, abrasion resistance in the phenolic films is exceptional, while moisture absorption throug the film overlays and sealed panel edges is minimal. Metsä Wood Form Plus offers the additional benefit of virtually eliminating initial ripple.
For extreme longevity (30-100 pours) choose Form/Form Plus 500 or Form/Form Plus 700.



Metsä Wood 3Plus/III
Cost-effective good 1 side spruce plywood panel for concrete shuttering. The strength and rigidity of Metsä Wood 3Plus/III comes from the Nordic spruce veneers from which it is constructed. 3Plus/III is a good all-round formwork panel where short-term cost-effectiveness is a priority.

Bespoke formwork
Specialist tasks often call for specialist materials. Please contact us if your construction projects require bespoke formwork panels. Bespoke panels can incorporate more long-grained veneers, combinations of birch and spruce, non-standard panel sizes, and special thicknesses of panel and/or overlay.
